Dental Implant Planning

Using Cone Beam CT for Dental Implant Planning is widely considered the standard of care. This scan low in cost and convenient for the patient with its easy access through favorable upright positioning and brisk scan time, 18 seconds or less.

The CBCT scan offers a cache of Implant Planning data for much lower amount of radiation as compared to Medical CT. These scans allow for the ability to carefully plan implant positions and measure the height and width of the bone. The iVision software, which loads the image set automatically, includes tools for distance measurements, HU statistics for bone density and nerve mapping.

The Cone Beam CT scan is veritably essential to Dental Implant Planning. Contact Northwest Radiography for more information about planning for dental implants at one of our Washington State labs. We have 3 convenient locations in Seattle, Tacoma and Bellevue. We look forward to working with you!
